In my recent blog post, I mentioned some plans for this blog. Here, I’d like to really dive into those plans, and explain my thinking.

Really what I want this blog to turn into is a whole platform for all things Strength related. I want people to be able to discuss things and have conversation in the comments, people to connect through strength training, not just me writing my own blog. Obviously my own blog is sort of the “center of attention” in a way, but I’d love for this to take off and really become it’s own outlet for others as well.

Eventually, I’d like to get into coaching. I don’t think I have enough competitive experience under my belt yet, but down the road I would like to dive into that. With this platform, I’d like to eventually sell programs, coaching, etc. Really I’d prefer the selling programs (I’m talking like $10-$20 programs, I’m not trying to charge a ton) over the individual coaching, but I’m not opposed to that either.

I really enjoy blogging. Blogging is where my multimedia skills, my web design skills, and my hobbies can really come together as one. In total I run two blogs, this one and a Dev-log where I discuss my game development journey as well. I was running a gaming blog for a bit, but I haven’t posted on that in a solid year. That being said, I’d like to get that up and running again as well. Because let’s be real here, nowadays, we’ve broken the boundaries of “gamers can’t be strong” and there are a TON of people who love video games, and going to the gym. Here I am, not only a Strength Athlete, but also a gamer, and a game developer as well. Realistically I could build a great network here of people who share all of those passions, or just some of them is fine as well. The point I’m getting at: I have a good thing going for me here and I’d like to capitalize on it.

I’m looking into, not so much how to monetize my personal blogs, but, I’d like to find myself a good side hustle job writing blogs. Whether it be for others, content writing, about certain topics, etc. I’d love to turn it into a good side hustle, then hopefully use my talents to really build up my own platform here as well.

The next thing I’d like to do is video content on this platform. I’d need to upgrade my website here but I could certainly do that as well. Like I said, I want this to be a well-rounded platform for people who love lifting heavy things. I also want this to be a platform that can connect people to my other platforms, like my Dev-log and my Gaming Blog as well.

In addition to this plan, to reach more of an audience I will be essentially copying this blog, and also running it on Medium. If you’d like to check that out, you can find my profile here at: https://medium.com/@rgraham2512
